2-component epoxy primer highly waterproof suitable for application both on metals and fibreglass. Outstanding resistance to abrasion and chemicals.
Technical data:
Temperature range for application > +10°C at a relative humidity less than 80%. Mixing ratio 2: 1 by volume. The pot life of 1 hr at 21°C and less at the higher temperature. Touch dry after 4 to 6 hrs at 25°C 50% RH. Recoat after 24 hrs. Maximum recovering time 36 hrs. Calculated coverage 1.4 m²/kg - 2 m²/ltr - 500µ. Calculated consumption 710 g/m² - 490 ml/m² - 500µ.Available in Grey RAL 7040 and/or White RAL 9010.
Application:
Apply 2K epoxy primer on properly primed supports. Dry abrasive blast on steel before application, obtaining a 25 - 75µ. Clean and apply directly on fibreglass. Be sure surfaces are clean, dry and free from oil, grease and any other contaminants. Apply 3 - 4 coats by a roller for optimum osmosis protection.
