Use a suitable guide sleeve for stud bolts snapped off beneath the surface. Pre-drill the snapped off threaded section. Then enlarge as required

If the stud bolt is protruding, place the guide sleeve onto the bolt. Pre-drill the threaded bolt. Then enlarge as required

If the stud bolt is broken off flush, centre punch and pre-drill the bolt. Then enlarge as required

Hammer a suitable extractor pin into the drilled hole

Push extractor nut down to the bottom of the pin. Extract snapped off threaded bolt evenly without tilting
