Flat cut

Even CNC cut with cutting geometry specifically aligned to reduce cutting pressure

Precise, clean drill hole with low tolerances

Offset, optimised centre drill (GS-protected system)

  • No need for laborious centre punching, because the drill is easily centred
  • Reduced drilling force and over 50% reduction in drilling time coupled with lower power consumption (depending on the hand-held drill used)

Precise, optimally embedded seating of the cemented carbide teeth via a unique, fully automatic soldering process

High cutting performance paired with long service life

Limitation of cutting depth

Prevents work accidents and protects the tool and machine from damage

Ejection spring

  • Protects shock-sensitive carbide teeth after pre-drilling when the drill bit enters the medium
  • Automatically ejects the drilled section ("drill core") when drilling is complete

Separately tempered shank from∅ 32 mm

Compensation for the increasing ∅ torsional forces and torques associated with increasing diameters

Notice
  • The cylinder saw must be seated securely in the drill chuck
  • Avoid tilting of the cylinder saw
  • Appropriate protective clothing such as safety glasses, gloves etc. must be worn during work

Application area

For use with upright and hand-held drills in tool steels, construction steels, non-ferrous metals, non-rusting metals (e.g. A2 and A4), asbestos, fibreglass and plastics, PVC, zinc, plaster boards, light building boards and thin-walled wood and laminated panels, e.g. furniture rear panels.

Instructions

Max. cutting depth in steel = 4 mm, in stainless steel = 2 mm. Ensure that the saw is sufficiently cooled/well lubricated. Recommended speeds must be observed. Do not make oscillating movements with hand-guided drills, as this movement places uneven loads on the carbide teeth, which could cause them to break. For saws from 30 mm diameter, use an upright drill.
