Application areas:
Veneer glueing of particle board, wood core plywood, MDF sheets, resined paper foils and paper laminates. Surface glueing of laminated sheets (HPL/CPL sheets) on wood, particle boards and MDF sheets. Veneering and coating, e.g. of cabinets, inside doors, kitchen countertops, door frames, tables, corner benches.
Application:
Not suitable for outdoor use, as not weatherproof. Apply thin, even layer of quick veneer glue on one side with the adhesive roller, adhesive spatula or with application machine. With highly absorbent material and low pressing pressure, a relatively large quantity must be applied. The higher the pressing pressure, the smaller the required application to quantities. With large-pore veneer, the adhesive is to be mixed with high viscosity and a thin layer applied to prevent adhesive
bleedthrough. Adhesive bleed-through can lead to colour changes during staining, as the pores of the veneer are already filled with adhesive, preventing the penetration of the stain. In conjunction with the tannic acid of the wood, the influence on bare metal can
lead to blue discoloration especially with oak and to red discoloration with beech. At a pressing temperature above +50°C, a brown discoloration can result with soft-wood veneers. Fresh splashes of glue can be removed with water. Older adhesive residues can only be removed mechanically. Stir container thoroughly prior to application and always close container tightly before storing. Protect from frost. The processing time and the hardening time are highly dependent on the working conditions, e.g. the temperatures, moistures, absorption of the materials, application quantities and tensions in the material.
