  • Long shelf life
  • Adheres to most surfaces without primer
  • Not corrosive to metals
  • Can be used on alkaline substrates such as concrete, mortar and fibre cement
  • Almost odourless
  • High degree of stability
  • Excellent weather resistance
Notice

Neutral silicone A8 Pro is not suitable for adhesive bonding or filling cavities. Complies with building material class B2 in accordance with DIN 4102. Due to the large number of varnish and glazing formulations available, especially on alkyd resin paints and powder-coated aluminium, always carry out your own tests on the area first. Remove excess smoothing agent on glass and frames immediately after application. to avoid smearing. Neutral silicone A8 Pro can be used for sealing between frames and laminated safety glass. When doing so, make sure that there is no direct contact between the sealant and the VSG film. Risk of yellowing on contact with white alkyd resin paints cannot be excluded. With larger joint dimensions, the silicone-like odour will be present for longer. Silicone has a tendency to discolour in dark areas where there is no UV exposure. Avoid contact with VKP tape. Different polycarbonate types require adhesion and compatibility tests prior to application. Stress cracks can appear in particular when applying on cutting edge.

EN 15651-1 for façade elements, class F-EXT-INT 25 LM

EN 15651-2 for glazing, class G-CC 25 LM

EN 15651-4 for floor joints, PW-EXT-INT-CC

ISO 11600 F+G, class 25 LM

DIN 18545-2 E
