Neoprene-based contact adhesive

Wide range of applications

Bonds virtually all materials.

Easy to spread

Can be easily applied to the bonding surface with a brush and toothed spatula.

Ageing-resistant

Ensures adhesive bonding for many years.

Good elasticity

Compensates for material movement.

High resistance

Resistant to diluted acids, alkaline solutions, water and alcohol.

Silicone-free

Notice

Not to be used on polystyrene, soft PVC, PVC films, PE and PP. Smooth surfaces should be sanded.

The usage instructions are recommendations based on the tests we have conducted and our experience; carry out your own tests before each application. Application area

For applying coatings and other surface bonds:

  • Wood, chipboard panels, wood fibre panels, hard-veneer panels and decorative panels

  • Laminated panels (Resopal, Duropal, Ultrataps)

  • Plastic panels (tiles)

  • Hard PVC, PMMA, polyester, polyamide, polycarbonate

  • Hard phenol resin and polyurethane foams

  • Rubber, felt, textiles, leather, glass, lead, Corian, metal, concrete etc. together and with each other
Instructions

Prior to use, the contact points must be dry and clean, and free of dust and grease. Processing temperature must not be below +12 degrees Celsius. Apply a generous, uniform layer of adhesive to both surfaces with a brush or fine-tooth spatula (tooth depth approx. 1 mm). After a cool-down time of approx. 10–15 minutes, push the parts together quickly and firmly. Parts must be bonded together within approx. 45 minutes of the adhesive being applied. The waiting time is dependent on room temperature, application thickness and absorbency of the substrate. The adhesive surfaces should be joined while the adhesive film is still slightly tacky, but does not adhere to the finger when lightly pressed.
