Heavy-duty, elastic hybrid structural adhesive

Excellent adhesive range and high level of initial strength

  • Very good adhesion to almost all substrates
  • No complex fixing of components

Flexible with low elasticity

Can be painted over

Can be painted over before and after skin formation with all standard paint systems (except alkyd resin varnish).

UV-resistant

Ideally suited to visible joints.

Non-corrosive

Prevents metal corrosion.

NSF (P1) registered (No. 136996)

International approval for use in food-related areas.

Virtually odourless, VOC and solvent-free

Isocyanate-free, PVC-free and silicone-free

Notice

Do not bring into contact with synthetic-resin paint systems (alkyd resin). Not suitable for PE, PP, PTFE, silicone rubber, polystyrene and softened plastics. Make sure a minimum adhesive thickness of 3 mm is used to ensure secure bonding. It is essential to use Würth Adhesion Plus products in order to achieve optimum adhesion results. This is especially important with critical surfaces, such as non-ferrous base metals (copper) and galvanised materials. For smoothing, use Würth sealant smoothing agent.

Proof of Performance

NSF-registered, Class P1, No. 136996

Application area

For dynamically loaded structural bonded connections and seam and joint sealing in bodywork, vehicle and caravan construction, railway carriage and container construction, metal and equipment construction, in air-conditioning and ventilation duct construction, in the food industry and many more.

Very good adhesion to almost all surfaces, such as steel, stainless steel, sheet steel (including phosphated, chrome-plated and galvanised), aluminium (including anodised), ABS, GRP, hard PVC and ceramic materials.

Not suitable for PE, PP, PTFE, silicone rubber, polystyrene and softened plastics.

Instructions
  • The application surfaces must be clean, dry and free of grease. Processing temperature is between +5°C and +40°C. Best adhesive results are guaranteed when the surfaces are pretreated with Activating Cleaner (art. no. 089010060) and Primer for Metal (art. no. 089010061) or Primer for plastic/wood/stone (art. no. 089010062).

  • Cut the nozzle tip to create the required bead geometry. The adhesive must be applied using a manual, battery-powered or piston-rod-style compressed-air gun or drum pump to ensure a reliable finish. Apply the adhesive in the form of a triangle of beads to ensure an even layer thickness. Unhardened material can be removed with adhesive remover (art. no. 089010063).

  • Following skin formation, can be mechanically machined and painted over without surface activation.
