Sealing connection joints on parquet flooring and door frames

Sealing moving joints in parquet

The parquet acrylic is suitable for parquet flooring, glued over the entire surface, with low expansion properties

Neutral silicone Perfect should be used for elastic sealing, e.g. of floating parquet, laminate flooring or gap sealing of boarded floors

Instructions

The substrate must be dry, load-bearing and free from dust, grease and wax

Loose components, old coatings or paint and sealant residues must be removed prior to applying the parquet acrylic

Prime highly absorbent substrates with a mixture of parquet acrylic and water (1:5)

To prevent adhesion on three edges, we recommend using PE backfill material

A joint width of between 5 mm and 15 mm should be selected so that the joint depth is half as large as the joint width (minimum of 5 mm, however)
